		<description>This is one I&#039;ve always considered a cardinal sin. Not sure how both God and the Catholic Church left it out:

Taking something that God created in abundance and creating an artificial shortage in order to derive personal benefit from said situation.

Politicians are great at this although they are far from being the only violators.</description>

I had been thinking of messages I&#039;d like to give my kids (ones that are somewhat less standard) and one of them (since I am *never* going to get around to a top 10) was that in a true friendship (or marriage, or among siblings) you need to believe that your friend wants the friendship just as much as you do and therefore don&#039;t start calculating how many times s/he called, invited you over, etc., but rather believe that they&#039;re doing what they can (got tired of the s/h). Though this will sometimes go against your #6, it does help keep friendships and relationships going...
